Phulwari Sharif is now within the city of Patna. It has AIIMS Patna, and is connected with an Expressway to Digha. The area is highly Muslim dominated now. Most Hindus have sold their properties there to Muslims earlier at high costs. Three years ago Muslims of the locality attacked all the left over Hindus in the area. It is alleged that lots of Bangladeshi Muslims have entered the area and they do riots, even the local Muslims are fed up with them. Additionally, last to last year Police busted an ISI backed terrorist sympathiser group there, who were on a mission to divide India again before 1947. P.S. Phulwari Sharif is still a notorious locality of Patna.

Pakistan and India relations between two countries can be smoother if deradicalised society of Pakistan first. Establishment of Pakistan and constitution of Pakistan should be secular constitution and Hindu's given equal rights and blassfamy law's act abolished in Pakistan. Then society education institution can equaliser for both societies can Undo Pakistan and unite India. But ground has to be made by government of Pakistan. Enough terrorist activities bleeding agendas of Pakistan. Hypocrisy of Pakistan in fact not tolerate any more by government of India. Happened is gone buried now. Either break up of Pakistan in 5parts to realise that blunder of creation of Pakistan or extinct from earth Global maps nuclear flash point is good enough for pakistan. No doubt Pakistan suffering more as lower reparrian state Indus water 🌊💦 system. All pollution shall go to Pakistan by nuclear mushroom. Air move from India to Pakistan zero point karachi sea tides in. Himalaya to Karachi air water 🌊💦 goes high natural climates direction ⬆️⬇️ monsoon season ⁉️

Mo. Ali jinha was responsible for every blood drop shed. Every orphan and raped women in India and Pakistan 1947. Partician case. He said that as lawyers he can sacrifice any muslim population of UP for carved out Pakistan infact West Punjab. Brutality steps in Pakistan infact and reciprocated in India across Radcliffe line. Sad state of affairs and loss of humanity and death' every nook and corner. .

Excellent talk, thanks for taking this up. The songs (e.g. dasha dey) were indeed an enigma to me as they were not in pashto. I even asked few hazara and persian people if they could make any meaning out of it. My dadi used to sing it but meaning was unknown. Finally I stumbled upon the fact that they were most probably in a language called Ormuri from Waziristan.

Thank you both for this. Very thought provoking..We deserve a deep rooted analysis and collective conversations of the PTSD from Partition and the impact it has on several generations thereafter the trauma. Focusing and honouring the individual struggles that deserve real ancestral healing. 🙏

A highly emotional experience, listening to Salman. What have we done to this beautiful land,to its people,to centuries of companionship? I want to honour people like Bacha Khan who opposed partition of India, suffered for independence from colonialism and spent many years in Pakistani jails for his principled stand against state propaganda aimed to keep the two countries in perpetual enmity.

She is spot on on all references that she has quoted regarding the progressive reshaping of the way of life we Sindhis adapted to after our parents relocated outside Pakistan and particularly in India. I do remember a lot of occasions and incidents that I experienced with my parents and other Sindhis that I grew up with in a predominantly Sindhi neighbourhood of Sion Mumbai since my birth as a twin Sindhi boy on 15th August 1949. Would love to share.

I would request Guneeta to just end the partition obsession and let the modern nation states of India and Pakistan to live in peace please. Only Punjab and Bengal were partitioned, and even there only the NRI Punjabis seem to be obsessed about it till date. You will see never see a Kannada or Tamil, or a Manipuri speaker talk about partition. Even the large majority of Hindi speakers in North India don't care a fig about it.

  • @sajjadashraf324

the generation which experienced partition is rapidly vanishing۔ they have emotional attachment with their birthplaces and wish to visit them before they pass away۔ Both countries should facilitate them to fulfil their this wish۔ this could be proved a big step to normalise the relations and bring peace and prosperity in this part of the world۔

This is so interesting. My grandmother was from Danishmandan and my siblings and I and our cousins all wore those embroidered kurtas with matching hats as children and now the next generation are wearing them too. My mom and aunts were all taught the pathani kasheeda embroidery as young girls.
